scale & observation

Crescent Road is a popular spot for photographers because of its vantage point allowing a panoramic view of the Bow River and the downtown core.  The morning I picked to go up there was pretty cloudy and miserable, hence the overblown/bright and clouded over sky. Still, the view was pretty amazing.  I can’t wait for Spring to work its renewing magic and to go back there when the trees are lush with leaves once again.

Although this shot could technically work in a landscape theme, I chose this to represent scale because the buildings in the background appear smaller in scale to the houses and trees in the foreground.

This post is part of Blogging U’s Photo 101 Class, where I’ll be posting a photo each weekday with an interpretation of the given theme.
