Sunday was a glorious day. After church, Mark and I headed over the East Village to grab a coffee at Phil & Sebastien’s and to take in the sun while strolling around the River Walk and taking a quick visit over to St. Patrick’s Island.
When I saw today’s theme, this photo I took of St. Patrick’s Bridge came to mind. It was constructed in October 2014 to connect East Village to downtown Calgary, so it was the perfect choice for conveying this theme. I love the curvature of the design against the brilliant blue backdrop of the sky, while Mark was more interested in the nuts & bolts of it, being an engineer and all.
This post is part of Blogging U’s Photo 101 Class, where I’ll be posting a photo each weekday with an interpretation of the given theme.
