Snapshots of the lovely birthday lunch I had last week with my friend at Sassi Kitchen & Bar.
For her: Ravioli (fig, prosciutto, mascarpone & toasted almonds). Creamy and rich; delightful combination.
For me: Caprese Salad (ripe tomatoes, burrata & arugula), with the grilled chicken option. Amazing balsamic/olive oil dressing and fresh ingredients; a bright, flavourful dish.
Overall impression: Beautiful, modern decor with a touch of old world flair; great service.
